Birds of a feather flock together.

At the end of the day, Muslims loyalty is to other Muslims.

If the previously most hardcore anti-Iran power has decided they must bend the knee, then this war has established Iran as the undisputed power in the Persian Gulf.

Now it appears UAE is cutting their own deals with Iran directly.

If this is even true the US obviously gave the go ahead to spare Trump the fallout.

Doesn't matter as they have the same enemy in us. If the entire group of gulf coast countries thought they could get away with nuking us, they would do it in a heartbeat. They would do it to any non muslim country in the world.

Only after the world wide caliphate was established, would they eventually settle the scores between the muslim factions. That is the hard, cold truth about Islam. Their entire ideology demands this.

Sure the UAE, SA, etc play nice to our face, but don't think for a solitary moment that they don't hate us and would kill us all if they could. That is another reason they are unreliable "allies".

As I've said earlier, the west doesn't seem to fully grasp or want to grasp this concept. They think money and business deals keep their hatred sated, but it doesn't. And for any individual muslims found to not harbor that kind of desire to eliminate us all, they would be rounded up when the time came and thrown into the bonfire with us.

Make no mistake, the west is at war with Islam and has been since the 7th century. It is a long slow grinding war and they will use our greed and naivety, if they can, to beat us in the long run.

This Reuters report says the real number is 20 billion and quotes a UAE official tacitly confirming the news. This is the worst news since the war started.

The only way these muslim countries will wither on the vine is when the auto industry shifts away from gasoline.

If true, that is a lot of IRGC paychecks cut, a lot of Basij members funded and lot of bullets and other munitions purchased by the IRGC.

However we are inexorably tied to petroleum as a means of global control.

Dude, there are a colossal number of products made with petroleum. EV's will not change that.

We don't have the Electrical Infrastructure anyway.

Yes but in the time being if world wide oil production reaches a level where the oil in the part of the world is not needed.

At that point, who cares if the SOH is closed, let them choke on it.

It would make perfect sense. Iran refuses to budge without upfront payment. Trump would never in a million years admit to making such payment, or having to lose anything in a deal. Therefore, UAE middleman to the rescue

Or, it could all be BS like 99.9% of Twitter posts are, although I do usually trust Reuters

Are there any Trump supporters that are happy with this "progress"?

I'm fine with it. Iran is hard strapped for cash because it's the first thing they ask for ANY time. The blockade is working. Contrary to what some folks say here they are not selling any relevant amounts of oil through other means. I don't care about the strait and paying $1 more for a gallon of gas is fine...paid $3.09 a little while ago.

Now, would I prefer we bomb the shite out of them non-stop, sure. But something is going to break eventually.

His messaging has been absolutely atrocious.

Oddly enough...if you don't go hunting for his "messaging" every 30 minutes of every day...like some on this thread now do...it's not that bad.

The people that were in this thread in the beginning don't come and comment because the thread is now filled with never Trumpers and gaping vaginas. Some of the same ones who said we should not be bombing Iran are now in here stirring shite by saying "What the hell! Why are we not bombing Iran".

I'm just going to watch and let it play out.

We're blaming our pawns now?

WE fricked ourselves over. All UAE and other ME countries did was follow us until we showed them we were weak and cowardly.

This is just all around embarrassing.

We're like the person who always threatens to leave a relationship but never does. After a while all that crying wolf gets tiresome.

We literally had to bomb the living shite out of them to send a message because we built it up to be only and just that. Then we cowardly backed out

It's a "2 sources familiar with" or "one source inplied to us" kind of "confirmation".

Then we lost access to some allies airspace due to the Project Freedom debacle.

Launching Project Freedom and then telling the gulf countries to sit there and take their licks without responding was a huge blunder that cost us all sorts of trust.
