Kamala had 0 substance. Meanwhile, Trump is debating both her and the moderators. He is also an extremely polarizing figure and minds are already made up about him. These events have less impact on elections than you think, as long as a candidate holds serve which Trump did. Her mannerisms and facial expressions do not play well on TV either.

Trump should have never agreed to debate Biden before the convention. He won that going away.

I don’t think this debate has moved the needle much for either candidate. It has traces of vintage debate Trump but it’s not like she’s delivered any killer knock out punches either.
