They do. I remember watching a 14-15 year-old Miley Cyrus giving praise to her "Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" on a national New Year's Eve show. In less than 2 years, she was twerking with Robin Thick and talking like a sailor (and she ended up sounding like a sailor).
In a slightly different way the same thing happened with Taylor Swift. You hate to see it.
But sometimes these people do manage to escape. I never thought I would pay any attention to what Russell Brand had to say, but he's turned his life around and is actually very intelligent.

Being rich and famous is apart from being included in their Hollywood club. When the Amber trial was going on Disney cancelled his career with Pirates of the Caribbean deals and hasn’t made a movie since even though he was shown to be innocent in the lawsuits

So that's why a guy from the Southeastern US gets a bit of a foreign accent. I always figured it was from adopting an accent for roles like Pirates of the Caribbean

meh. i could see that. didn't follow that trial but didn't they talk about beating the shite out of each other...and maybe someone pooped in the bed or something? i saw the new season of the bachelorette was cancelled days before airing because that girl was on video beating the shite out her boyfriend. companies don't want to be associated with that behavior.
