When media is no longer the media and simple a political arm and tool.... this will always happen.

When the knife is at the throat of the Jewish People, they immediately strike back at the knife-wielder AND the propaganda dissemination agency of the knife-wielder.

The NYT is the real victim here, private spying is to blame, you see. We had nothing to do with it, we were just as shocked as you to find out this wasnt true.

All they had to do is report the news. They went way past that, they demanded what they reported to be TRUE and twisted everything they could to be able to make that assertion.

This is definitely DanRather-esque. Yeah, all those documents that CBS forged about GWB's National Guard service were proven to be obvious f*cking frauds, but Dan Rather still stuck by the story.
The only "proof" that Russia tried to "influence the 2016 election" was that they spent $30k on Facebook book ads trying to sow discourse in both parties. sHitlary spent over $1 billion but that $30k in Facebook ads tipped the election!

What a load of crap.
They aren't saying it was a lie. They said it wasn't proven false.
It's impossible to prove a negative.
You are supposed to prove the positive.
They should have said that tenuous and salacious claims have been found to be based on nothing but imagination.
The nyt by saying that said it could still be true, we just haven't found proof.
So they could say Trump was Hitler reincarnated. Unless he was born before Hitler died, it is impossible to prove that is wrong.
