Would have been phrased as “ there have been lines at the pumps and prices have been hiking upwards” if there was a Republican in the White House. A classic example of media bias.

They had to quantify their statement with the use of the words long and major to make their statement correct. Anyone who can read between the lines can easily spot this.

Oh I see, so then this works to help reinforce the Biden administration's hands off policy on the matter. Pretty damn messed up.....I didn't realize their willingness to say literally anything dated back that far. That's on me for sure. That said, I do believe NYT actually cleared that up with a mild retraction in the coupon section just about 3 weeks ago.
