There is a big difference. Pravda wishes it had the influence the US legacy media has. No one in the Soviet Union believed Pravda. More than half of the US swallows the legacy media lies daily.

It all depends on your definition of long and major.

I’m currently in Virginia. Panic buying has emptied the town I’m in. You can’t buy gas.

Every fricking gas station in Suwanee is either out, or there's 60 cars waiting in line. I'm down to 10 miles on my tank. Luckily I've got 2 gallons of ethanol free in the garage.

A guy who wrote a book on the New York Times was on an Andrew Klavan podcast. He said he researched it after a professor at a university mentioned it to him but he couldn't remember the exact date of the article. The Times only source for the story was the official German state media source.

Just talked to a buddy in NC. Had to drive 20 miles out of his way to find a station with gas. First three he went to were out.

A lot of this on the consumer side now is due to hoarding just like toilet paper. The same folks that buy all the bread and milk before a hurricane/tropical storm. The issue is being extended by these jerks and their mentality who get their info from local news which parrots the MSM.

Meh. Most tanks don't hold more than 20 gallons. It's not like TP you can store for a year or more.

If everyone's tanks are full, supply will be replenished in a few days...provided the pipeline is back on line.

And if it isn't, the buyers were smart to get fuel when it was available.

I rode by the Kroger in Suwanee at around 6:30 and the line was wrapped around the pumps and the line what out on PIB and Lville Suwanee. It was insane. The Citgo by the liquor store was out completely except diesel and the BP was likewise.

Someone forgot to inform NPR that prices were stable and there were no lines for fuel.

I’m at home visiting my parents and there was such a line at the local gas station yesterday the police were brought in for traffic control.
