The left is already telling you what they plan to do....its not lower prices or any of that. This will be a revenge tour as you have never seen.

Thank a republican voter today!

It's a good thing Trump dismantled the state apparatus that would allow such a thing.

You act like this is anyone’s fault but Trump.

He was reelected because he pledged to bring down inflation and tend to the economy.

Instead he went absolute ape on tarrifs that had massive trickle down effects and drove up inflation.

But he didn’t stop there.

He started a needless war in the Middle East that will go down as a bigger debacle than Iraq (which he says he opposed).

Could you imagine if someone spent years and all their political capital getting revenge and owning the other side rather than addressing issues that voters care about?

No, by January the media will be telling you all the problems have been solved while in reality nothing has been done...

Ask yourself why they voted the way they voted. Then you’ll see where the blame lies. Vance spelled it out for you. It’s right there.

This is true and it's why if the democrats do go on a revenge tour and put those issues on the back burner the house and senate numbers are likely to flip right back around. It'll be interesting to see how they proceed

Hegseth, Patel, RFK Jr., and Blanche are the lowest hanging fruit and are going to be targeted the most. I don't believe they will actually try to impeach Trump. He's more valuable as an agent of chaos within the GOP and might burn it all down around him.

But yes if they don't address things like cost of living, jobs lost to AI, money in politics, corporate America raking in record profits while paying shite wages, etc. they will be out on their asses soon too. That's the shite people are fed up with and we're going to see these huge shifts like the last two elections until one party decides to address those concerns instead of just promising to.

The Iraq War lasted 8 years, we lost 4,500 American lives, and it cost us trillions of dollars.

Besides OMB, how is this worse?

Anyone who has followed American politics longer than 30 minutes knows that whenever one party has the White House, Senate, and the House, they always overplay their hand, and two years later the voters punish them and vote them out of at least one of those three. The same will happen again.

Regardless of what the Democrats do, most of America still lives in the middle. That hasn't changed.

Hegseth is in real jeopardy. He will be in serious legal trouble for blowing the drug boats out of the water in international waters, and especially for wiping out the survivors. Combine that with the fact that even some Republican senators don't like him because he hasn't bothered to build any relationships with them. He could actually get convicted in the Senate, which is why he will resign first.

They want Hegseth because they know he is a potentially strong POTUS candidate in the future. They do not want him to be given that chance.

This from the NYT:

quote:

A Trump adviser said a spending plan existed but could not be shared because the president had not approved it.

Some days, Mr. Trump told advisers privately: “We’ve gotta win. Anything we gotta do.” On others, he sounded as if he couldn’t care less. “It says something very nice about me that they just can’t win without me,” he told aides.

Mr. Blair and others had to make the case to the president to sign off on the spending. Mr. Trump withheld his approval until the end of the summer.

The delay was costly: Ad prices soar as elections near.

Trump only cares about Trump. Does not give a shite about anyone else including everyone on this board. That's what people shouldn't be surprised about.
