no dude..this country just said they've had enough of Trumps crazy. And sadly the only options was Dems. They DID NOT embrace dems. They revolted against Trump

People want to blame Trump as if Trump's narcissism or mean tweets caused people to stay home...

People revolted because Trump abandoned everything he ran on and instead rammed the same neocon bullcrap down our throats. We thought we were voting against that in 2016 but Trump became the champion of it.

Congress is JUST AS GUILTY. People revolted against the smug and elitist Neocons that treated their voters as a joke
I think you should cry about it some more

Neither party has won the presidency when they already have it since 1988

For anybody under 50 it has always been this way.

What on earth are you babbling about old man. There wasnt a Presidential election last night
Just read this board. Boomers, Xers and many Millennials are beyond hope. This is why nothing was going to change if the GOP got elected again. There was never going to be mass deportations, there was never going to be a singe policy that threatened asset prices, there was never going to be an end to the the kowtowing to Israel.

The message of the GOP to young men was:
-Screw you
-We are going to bring in Indians and the rest of the third world willing to live 20 to a house and for little pay(with govt assistance) and if you dont want to compete with them, you are lazy
-Its worth you dealing with high gas/food/living prices so that Israel can maintain their power in the middle east
-You are just gonna have to live with being a minority now

Doesnt sound appealing does it

They want a remedy and if the only option be presented is socialism, they will take it.

People desperately want to believe this is the case...but its really just cope. Young men just decided that it was worth dealing with pain for a while in order to have a chance at a future later. Sometimes you take the loss for a chance to win down the road.

You had the Rush Limbaugh(in terms of influence) of the youngest voting generation tell his listeners to vote blue.

Why? Because the GOP thought they could continue the same game theyve played the last 50 years where they look out for the interests of everyone but their voters.

Eventually this game was going to end. You cant keep breaking the contract over and over and over and expect the other side to keep their end of the deal
Well it wasnt all this way...until the GOP decided importing the third world was good for business.

We are where we are today simply because we didn’t get the most votes. You can pretend it’s other things but the results show that people stayed home or even voted for democrats.

Because we are past "conservative"

Its now the time for practicality. The GOP promised no new wars, mass deportations, ending Ukraine war, reigning in spending and waste, release of Epstein files, policies that helped with inflation and affordability, voter ID laws, justice for stolen elections

The contract was broken, and you expect young folks to say "well gee golly, maybe theyll do it next time"

I fully understand the fear of Xers and Boomers. Youve had it good. Yall are fine with the broken promises as long as things just stay just stable enough until yall die. Thats not how its gonna work out

Listen, we already know that we are screwed until you people just age out and die. Live the rest of your life on your high hill, pretending that your generation did nothing wrong. Thats fine. There really is no point in arguing with you people anymore.

Were interested in two different things.

I am interested in winning elections and holding power (to then do what I really want).

You are clearly interested in just being right in whatever perceived way you want. Regardless if it gets you power or not.

We are not the same.

This is what they dont get. Winning logical arguments over the left on message boards, college campuses, Fox News...etc it has done nothing.

For years weve been in a hostage situation of the GOP telling us we must deal with them getting elected, them enriching themselves, doing the bidding of Israel, and destroying the currency....or we get Weimar Republic communist anarchy.

Young men finally said F U

If you think sidestepping the argument because you know you can't refute it is going to convince me to want to "win an election" just so that the people I vote for can do the same thing that the people I didn't vote for would do, then you can think again.

Call me when you have a logical idea about this that isn't the same leftist appeal that I have heard my whole life for why I should agree to pay someone else's way.

P.S. I wasn't "attacking your sentence structure." I genuinely wasn't sure I was understanding it right, and the theory about why that sentence turned out the way it did that made the most sense to me is that you edited an original sentence, probably in haste. if I had said something like, "You dumbass fricking cuck, you can't even write a coherent sentence," then you'd have a reason to whine about that.

The link to the book was likewise sincere. That's exactly what happens when you give people shite. It's what has already happened...it's why you think young people are entitled to have other people pay their way.

Life has been so easy and so good in America for long enough that we've had a generation and a half or so brought up in Trophy Generation culture who believe that they are entitled to so much stuff that they THINK older generations got that those older generations didn't actually get.

That's exactly why you think it makes sense to just give these people (most of whom already have college degrees, let's remember) taxpayer money.

It's a great book, not just for children, and I didn't recommend it as an insult. It should be required reading for every civics class in America, at the lower and higher education levels.

Your whole life has been subsidized. If we hadnt bailed out the assets of Boomers multiple times, wed have a stable currency and real economy. Your generation chose to send the pain down the road for your children to deal with.

Wait for Boomers to finally die and try to rebuild something from the ashes they left behind.
