reasons why this senseless war and military siege are a disaster in the long run.

It's the exact opposite. It would be an economic plus in the long run. No more worrying about it getting closed or attack for years to come.

Yall all concerned about short terms. Worried about paying 1 dollar more for gas as to possibly having a real war in your lifetime on your soil with a powerful and capable opponent.l if we keep kicking rocks. Think big, forget about trump, forget about Iraq war. This is about so much more.

Yeah. In an alternative universe.

Think big

Analyzing "The Big Picture" is exactly why this war looms as even a bigger disaster. Essential international trade and material is all interconnected. Instability and interruption of the supply chain ( fertilizer for farming and livestock) relies on timing.

This war is an obvious disaster in the short term. Medium term. AND long run.

I'm amazed at the near-sightedness and lack of dot-connecting here.

Looks like Brent Crude hit $104 around 2am this morning. Currently at $102.24.

Why would I lie about gas prices? It was 3.23. Then 3.19 last trip and today I paid 3.14. Do you want the store and address?

Ok. Let’s try this a different way. Why be disingenuous? Gas prices went up about 75 cents to a dollar in the last couple of weeks. You’re now bragging about a drop of .04 or .05 cents when it’s well accepted it’s going to keep going up in the coming weeks, maybe drastically. Pathetic.

Any ships anyone sent would take weeks to outfit and get there anyway. Meanwhile the US sent 2 minesweepers that were stationed in the ME to Malasia.

Should the US hire private security firms (mercenaries) to enter Iran to locate and destroy threats to the Straight? It's going to take eyes on the ground to locate the location of the remaining Iranian defenses and drones.

Use the private firms to infiltrate and provide resources to take our the IRGC forces.

I find it comical you only have downvotes for this statement.

It would be nice for someone who disagrees with this statement to challenge it.

How is that good news considering what’s happening in the Strait right now?

Ok, but the oil market is a global market. Disruptions like what’s happening in the strait affect prices everywhere, including the U.S.

Trump already said they wouldn’t show up when America needed them. He’s just proving that point and next is leaving NATO. Watch these pussies change their tune real quick.

This war is going to end much sooner than the Panicans think. The Joos knocked off two more Iranian big shots last night and whoever the leaders are right now have got to realize their lives arent worth spit if this keeps up.

They might be evil but they aint stupid and I doubt they have a death wish. They'll sacrifice a lot but not when it comes to themselves.

Damn. I got a 6 pack of 17 oz Barqs Root Beer for only a dollar more today at Wal Mart. Usually only drink water, but was craving some Root Beer. Anyways, back to the regular scheduled programming.

This seems like a copy and paste from one of my friends 65 year old grandparents on Facebook

Absolute lunacy to think Iran would ever drop boots on the ground over here
