82.08 as of 2:32pm EDT

All of the doomsayers here and in other places in the Republican sphere were, as usual, wrong.

I'm sure we're all shocked.

Congrats, I guess

Didn’t take you for a huge corporate supporter though. Interesting twist. I’ll remember this when you start screaming empty platitudes about fair share taxes and raising corporate rates

Who cares. Political boycotts are dumb as hell. If a company makes a product I like, I'll buy it. Capitalism at it's finest.

Only an idiot would think buying or not buying tennis shoes was a political statement.

Fwiw--lots of idiots in this country.

Back to pre-Kapernick levels, meaning they didn't increase with this useless campaign?

The point of a company is to grow stock levels. They failed.

Keep melting Bamaatl. Cry to your Doug Jones poster.

Not I.

But hey. At least I'm not a Nobel Prize winning economist who predicted ON ELECTION NIGHT that the stock market would NEVER recover from Trump being elected.............and that dude is still taken seriously by you morons.

Trump has the libs turned into giant corporatists now.

It's amazing to see the power he has over them.

Wait for the quarterly sales report. Currently in the last month of the third quarter. Might have to wait until after the fourth quarter numbers to see if Nike made a bad decision.

Happy to support them when they take the moral side of a contentious issue.

1 day or 1 week window means nothing but their bigger issue is that Kaepernick is suing the NFL and NIKE has a billion dollar contract with em.

I could do some long term damage to em down the road.

Anyone with impartial thinking would have know this was temporary. The big challenge going forward for Nike, is how much does the controversy slow their projected growth numbers. I bet it does make them recalculate.

Am I the only person who does not give a single flying rat frick about how the market reacts to Nike's campaign? I seriously can't believe that this is the subject of yet another round of polemicizing.

No one really cares about Nike in reality. It's just easy fodder here.
