All of the doomsayers here and in other places in the Republican sphere were, as usual, wrong.

I'm sure we're all shocked.

Wait until they report financials and then we will talk about stock price. It hasn't even been a week yet they won't know the full impact for months.

Why should abortions be rare?

Because we should seek to foster conditions and support so that women are as likely as possible to choose to carry the fetus to term. Why would you think they shouldn't be rare?

Link?

ETA: And since abortions have been legal since the Roe v. Wade ruling how can abortions be illegal to test your hypothesis?

Congrats on being introduced to Google Scholar

I'm not doing simple google searches for him anymore - however, he lacks the credentials for real journal access, so he'll have to use google scholar.

That's neat.

So, again, congrats on being introduced to Google Scholar.

Sophomore, then?

And yet, it doesn't decrease the number of abortions - making abortion illegal increases the number of abortions.

Still waiting for this link.

This entire thing reminded me of the Dems campaign of destroying ar-15s and how this time the public was with them and they’d get the guns, how’d that work out?

Happy to support them when they take the moral side of a contentious issue
even when they're on the losing side of the argument?

I thought it was curious that you didn’t quote the part of the article that supports your claim that the number of abortions increases when abortion is made illegal.

As I read the entire article it hit me: your link does NOT support your claim.

Nowhere in your link does it say making abortions illegal increases the number of abortions.

In fact, here’s a quote that disproves your claim:
quote:

Abortion rates are similar in countries where abortion is highly restricted and where it is broadly legal.

Not only did you lie but you provided a link which proved you lied.

That makes you look silly. And stupid. And a liar.

If The Nike ad does not result in increased value for the stockholders, it will be dropped. Nike and all public companies play by that rule or they go out of business.

It doesn't matter in the scheme of things. I haven't purchased a Nike product in years. I'm not actively boycotting them, it's just overpriced crap.

It's kind of like Adidas focusing on the, umm, urban market. They are after the Millennial market, not us old codgers who have jobs.

The funny thing to me, is the left embracing Chinese sweatshops sewing these shoes. Their hypocrisy knows NO bounds.

No. It’s called common sense.
