So whoever replaces wray will pretty much be the exact same as wray. Like wray is basically a copy of Comey. It's one of the ways the permanent government has ensured nothing will change no matter who is elected to the white house.
I have wondered about this myself. I know some appointments just won't get confirmed by Congress due to entrenched swamp loyalties and alliances. But if I'm not mistaken, the president can make temporary appointments (maybe 6 months? Or temp session appointees based on timing with the Senate?) If so, perhaps a group of better candidates can be pooled together and rotated based on time limits and have them answer to VP Vance who can wield the master plan of cleaning up and creating honest efficiency. I'm not saying this is good or ideal, but is an initial thought as to how to sidestep being forced by the Senate to pick yet another swamp creature like Wray, who-- once appointed-- will resist the President.

Every time the swamp gets busted they just move on.
Only thing I know for sure is all govt agancies need fumigated minimum of 10 down the totem pole. Starting with the FBI and USSS, DOJ, DoD.
Or we commit insanity repeating the same thing over and over.
