if their food is good i wouldn't worry to much about their views or donations. I remember after George Floyd died people were walking around in downtown little rock handing out flyers of all black owned restaurants passer bys needed to eat at and support in the area. I was approached by 3 different people with it. each time I took it and said thanks for giving me a list of where not to eat.

In hindsight that was pretty rude.

Tame ? Probably because the industry is drying up as fans have grown tired of being lectured to and attacked by the so-called adult pretenders, who hate half the country for no other reason than voting for one particular president.

Restaurants and businesses participating in the protest

None of those would have even caught my attention.

I'm curious if even half of them were open more than 5 years.
I bet half close within the next 5.

It’s kind of interesting that some of these places are making enough money to give 10+% to anything. I can see doing that for a day, like a fundraiser, but to do that long term seems like it would be unsustainable. I’m guessing a lot are claiming g they’ll donate, but want really give those percentages.

I know they do some things out at the park. I fish near where their main area is and there is always little projects going on and what I assume are volunteers there.

Do you remember when their lease was up a year or two ago and the “masterplan” was to pave a road through the farm? They had tons of community support and were able to stop it. It’s a popular little group.

Turkey and the Wolf opened in 2016.

Hey Cafe opened in 2009.

NOLA Craft Culture opened in 2019.

Grow Dat opened in 2011.

Mile Brewery opened in 2018.

NOLA Brewing opened in 2009.

Those are the ones I’m familiar with.

Turkey and the Wolf and Nola Brewing are basically communist democrat political organizations that happen to also serve food. No normal people should ever go to these places.

Acamaya is the only one that would potentially be a problem for me. It’s a little neck-beardy and pretentious, but really good.

I’d like to try My SS Shirley’s but less so now. No matter… I can’t get to all the places I want to anyway.

I fully respect and support these businesses for using their right to protest.

That being said…..

Never been to any of those. I've been to Coquette which I think was owned by the same dude from Turkey and the Wolf.
