They must be so proud

quote:

Boyle said in an emailed statement that suspending the reading, writing and math proficiency requirements will benefit "Oregon’s Black, Latino, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, Tribal, and students of color." "Leaders from those communities have advocated time and again for equitable graduation standards, along with expanded learning opportunities and support."

I guess companies are going to have to start hiring private detectives to find out how dumb or smart a person is because everyone has a HS diploma and a college degree that they did not earn by actually learning anything, but by being born with a certain skin color.

I'm confused. If 'students of color' are not in the list earlier in the sentence, then what are they?

The whole school will be a feeder school for McDonald’s workers. Nah you know what keep the standards for the white kids they will be the people running companies because they have those skills while the minorities mop the floors.

I doubt if there are any Asian students who need this new law.

Assumption: She doesn’t think these groups can learn how to read or do math.

A literal fricking racist.

Heroes, no doubt.

Like the kid from the Make a Wish foundation running for a touchdown, but sadder because even that kid realizes he isn't really running a kick back for a TD vs K-State. These dumb asses sometimes generally have me convinced they believe shite like this helps when the problem is fatherless homes and single parent homes where the kid is a nuisance rather than a focus.

That's a purely reflexive answer. She has been trained well.

Another Bee writer is banging his head on his desk because once again an article he was working on turned out to be real.

Companies will start requiring people to take reading, writing, and math test to prove you are competent enough for the job.

All that really matters is whether they can recognize, and are able to ascribe latent racism and patriarchy to every person and issue that is between them and the success they desire. Being able to read, write, and do math is so last century.
