Hold on buddy.

We overthrew a democratically elected president of Ukraine in 2014.

We violated an agreement with Russia to not give NATO membership to former Soviet Union states. There are at least 12 new NATO members.

We have bioweapon labs in Ukraine.

So who are the bad guys?

Frickin Lyin Biden and his crime family literally enriching themselves from Ukraine,China, and yes, even Russia.

I’d love for Putin to drop the dirt on Lyin Biden. It would be glorious.

If Mike Johnson applies the Hastert Rule Ukraine funding shouldn't make it out of the House. I expect him to apply it.

How would he apply the rule when the majority of the Republican conference supports funding aid to Ukraine?

Johnson said that funding will have to come elsewhere meaning representatives will have to give up money possibly from their districts in order to continue. So he's going to see how other react before he actually make this action

Thats brilliant, cut it out of state projects funded by the fed. Senator Schumer, you know that subway extension to nowhere that is costing per mile more than any project in the world, so you can fund all your cronies and get kickbacks? Well you wanna fund Ukraine....cancel that.

Governor Newsom, cut that bullet train to nowhere.

I like it, once you have to pick and chose versus just pulling another blank check out your arse you might start to do things that serve your constituents, and ukraine aint one of them.

There was always going to be Ukraine funding. Whether Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson, Jim Jordan, Santa Claus, Barry Goldwater, or Donald Trump was speaker.

A large majority of the House supports it. Anyone who thought it wasn't going to happen wasn't paying attention.

They think because Johnson is SOTH, he better put a stop to it. They don't understand how the government works. Schools stopped teaching Civics decades ago.

I think Russia was spiraling out of control when Putin was elected. Life expectancy had dropped something like 15 years in just 5-10 years, and of course there was vast economic hardship that underpinned that.

The typical Russian at that point probably thought the Yankee Devil had tricked them into unwinding a comparatively workable Soviet system. Under such circumstances, I think Putin represents the best that they or we could have hoped for.

I do not understand how anyone could not realize this.

I suspect he made a deal to get support for his speakership. He’ll be a good leader in time, if he has the strength to endure the criticism.

To be fair he stated it would have to come from cuts somewhere else. Looks like a 4d chess move to me. We can fund it or they can pull money from other projects. Eventually they will slow the money train if you pull money from other projects.

This thread is perfect of example of how easily some conservatives are duped by media Snippets and cut aways. None of you railing on the new Speaker have any understanding of his stance or what his past votes and stances were, yet many are ready to call him a uni-party RINO. While At the same time y’all wonder why we lose so often.

SMH. Putin is a glorified mob boss.

By "best that they or we could have hoped for," you mean after the catastrophic foreign policy of the the Blowjob Bill Administration?
