Can someone explain the part that Chicken brought up? Would the two tear up the original contract? I assume the SEC is involved because they don’t want Ole Miss to lose out on a playoff berth.

Bro have you been to Florida? LSU is the easier place to win because of Kirby and schedule. Florida is the nicer place to live.

If he was staying at Oxford he wouldn’t be looking at Auburn, LSU, Florida. More than likely his family prefers Florida because it’s a very nice place to live and his wife is from there. Lane has to decide if he wants to go through Kirby every year. He can win at Florida or LSU he can’t at OM.

I’m not concerned about him going to Florida. If Kiffin were capable of winning a championship at Ole Miss, he would’ve done it by now. He’s not Saban or Kirby — he’s basically a Sark clone. He’s not winning a title at Florida or Ole Miss. Florida fits Kiffin he just doesn’t know if he wants the rebuild. If Lane thought he could get by Georgia and Kirby he would be at Florida. He isn't sure he wants to go head to head with Kirby and he knows he can’t win a championship at Ole Miss.

Sadly you are correct. We are in an arms race now and it’s on to the next coach. Not going to lie I miss the BCS era. I see now why Saban wanted no part of it.

LSU would be fine with Frank if they had a good staff. I haven’t seen anyone other than Lane, Elko, or Kirby that is worth the coin.
