If Stacy Abrams wins Georgia is lost forever. What a horrible candidate. Just awful.

Burke and Warren are very blue because they are very black. McDuffie to an extent.

McDuffie is listed as 40% black but Thomson and the schools were 70% plus. And before Obama and meth it was a great community to live in. In 1992 the schools were recognized as national schools of excellence. But I moved back to east TN after we finalized the adoption of our daughter and I moved mom up here last year when dad died and we sold the farms. It’s a whole lot of not my problem anymore.

Sparta’s so fricked up they elected a white mayor. Hancock is the blackest county in Georgia, 80%.

Thomson and Warrenton have Briarwood private school and several go to Harlem and Glascock County.

Georgia is a microcosm for the 2022 election nationwide. While I believe Kemp will somehow pull through, Warnock is now a sure bet for the Senate. This is important for it pretty much guarantees the Senate be commandeered by Schumer for at least 2 more years, with the R incumbent in Wisconsin losing, Pennsylvania flipping blue, as well as Ohio, and Lee losing to McMullen in Utah.

I keep seeing this. Well would you rather a patriot like Walker or a POS communist that votes for everything to destroy the country ?

I would rather a competent person who isn't scared to debate his opponent. Walker is one of Trumps biggest screw ups.

I’m confused because lots of posters on this board assured me Walker would be a great candidate

Maybe Walker just needs to dumb it down and express concern about an island tipping over to get the dumbasses in GA to vote for him.

If Kemp loses this then he gets what he deserves.

Maybe the GOP can get him to drop out for medical reasons and get a new candidate.

Would the state voting laws even let the GOP put another candidate in there after the primary has already been decided? Even if it was legally possible, it seems the logistics alone would be near impossible seeing as how they'd probably need to have another primary.

The state of GEORGIA just sucks politically!

If Split Tooth wins the Gov spot, that would be jsut awful...

GA used to be the Southeast RED anchor! Pitiful.

The pattern is real....big cities go blue, and it's over.

One of the worst political prognostications I have ever read, there is a zero percent chance Lee loses in Utah and Ohio is a toss up/leans Republican at worst. Pennsylvania will be an uphill battle for Republicans and Wisconsin will be tough to defeat an incumbent Republican

If you want to avoid a bloodletting in GA Republicans and those on the far right need to get over this fantasy that Kemp was in bed with the Democrats because he refused to challenge Trump's electoral results.

No matter what you think of him, with Kemp you still have seat at the table. With Abrams you will most assuredly will not and you will have dysfunctional governance. She will make Republicans pay and she will also become the political media darling. So you stop her now and for better or worse Kemp is your tool....your only tool so get serious about getting him re-elected.....and GA Republicans.....get a fricking good bench. Trotting out retreads like Perdue or corrupt rich women like Loeffler does not do you any good and don't Herschel Walkers. Next you'll tell me Eric Zeier is your man!!!

GA is already gone and it’s hard to admit. Abrams will be governor and it’s dynamics will mirror PA for decades.

That hasn't existed since the 1970s when people fled the city of Atlanta for Cobb/DeKalb/Gwinnett. Virtually all of the suburban growth since then has been from out of state transplants (my family included).

Georgia independents will decide the outcome of both these races, and right now (according to this poll) this group is breaking heavily in favor of both Warnock AND Abrams. It seems both Democrats have successfully dissociated their campaigns from the failures of the Biden presidency.

sad. two counties. fulton and dekalb.
Quite a few states are controlled by a small area:

Illinois: Cook county
Minnesota: Hennepin/Ramsey counties
New York: NYC area - Manhattan/Brooklyn/Bronx/Queens
Oregon: Multnomah county
Washington: King county

Can probably add Colorado (Denver/Boulder) and Virginia (Fairfax/Arlington/Alexandria) to that list too.
