Macon, Augusta, Savannah, Columbus, and other counties near those cities voted Democrat too.

3/4 of those aren’t South Georgia. Savannah, I seriously doubt Effingham or Bryan voted Dem

No offense to conservative Georgian's, but you get what you vote for.

Georgia will soon be last in every measurable category within a decade or two.

Shame on any of you allowing your wives or children to vote for these commies.

He said the cities are Democrat AND they’re metro areas. You are listing the stats from those cities and their counties NOT the metro counties around them that I referenced. Read / comprehend better

Huge cities will take states over.
NY/Cali/Illinois

Now Atlanta/Georgia

Texas is just too damn big for just Houston and Dallas/Ft.Worth. But maybe not forever.

Ohio has large cities, but they aint big enough to take over my state, and their shrinking (except Columbus).

Michigan is now a red/blue player because of Detroit's shrinkage.
If not for Democrat Machine Corruption (DMC), it would be solid red.

In any event, sadly it isn't a simple game where you keep score, but the fact is that Georgia is no longer the solid conservative base we used to could count on.

The fact that so many businesses and so many people are moving or have moved to Georgia is good in some ways, and damned bad in other ways.

I wish it were a game. Unfortunately it is not.

Yes, metro area is the city plus the surrounding area. In Ga there is usually 1 deep red blip in each metro are were the folks fled to when the city went to shite. A red dot in a blue ocean but enough to keep the metro area purple.

For example Columbia County is still red but less so than it was 5 years ago. But the other surrounding counties and Augusta-Richmond county are deep blue. Columbia is already getting bleed over from Augusta. When I 1st talking about leaving McDuffie county 5 years ago everyone was says move to Columbia County. Those same folks are already looking to leave Columbia County. Burke, Warren, McDuffie, are very blue because the power base shifted with Obama

How bad of a candidate was Walker?

Well he lives in Texas and skipped every debate during the primary. His only credential is football. So pretty, pretty bad.

Burke and Warren are very blue because they are very black. McDuffie to an extent. Am I right? Is Hancock County still a basket case? Good luck to you.

A F'n trash candidate who knows how to use the media and knows how to talk to people. He's well funded as opposed to many Republicans like Walker who are not. Walker has to define Warnock before Warnock defines Walker and right now his surrogates are doing a damned good job of it.

Maybe the GOP can get him to drop out for medical reasons and get a new candidate. It’s the only way they could have a chance, but it’s a slim chance. I looked at the polling data and everybody hates Walker and loves Warnock.
