New fertilizer plant in Donaldsonville broke ground today

The great Louisiana comeback is in full swing.
This is a big deal nationally as well. Currently Russia and the Chinese control a huge market share of fertilizer production and distribution. Canada too, but really that’s just China.

Bull. Just because you delay starting the clock doesn't mean that's how long the process and review takes.
It's like saying you ran a marathon in 10-15 minutes when you didn't start timing yourself until after mile 25.

False. That was an old fertilizer plant. That plant needs sulfur to make sulfuric acid to make phosphoric acid fertilizer. Old school process. Sulfur on the world market is up 400% due to the issues with the Hormuz. While the US has plenty enough sulfur from our refineries to supply our own fertilizer plants plants it is sold on the world market so they are getting that same price. The new processes making fertilizers now without sulfur are being built.
