I remember this clearly. There was video of people literally dropping dead on the street in china.

Won’t forget it

I remember how our resident "health care professionals" and "debunkers" claimed 99% of icu covid deaths were non-vaccinated.

Then they just melted away.

I also remember as early as December those Chinese YouTube videos. They were scary as hell. Freaked me out.

Why did select [D] govs push C19 infected patients into nursing homes?

I think it was a combination of covid ignorance and seeing it as a civil rights issue like it was an AIDS like issue of decades before. In any event, it was criminally negligent to put covid patients in nursing homes where the most frail and vulnerable were concentrated.

They said I should be permanently banned from doing any business in public including shopping. They wanted my bank account frozen and seized. They told me that my "selfishness" was literally killing them. They wanted me fired from my job. They wanted me arrested and imprisoned unless I chose to get the shots. They quite literally told me that I'm going to burn in hell. I was called a "stupid science-denier".

100% spot on

That is certainly a theory. Of course, you'll have to convince rational people that Trump was colluding to inject everyone with the vax while simultaneously refusing to mandate it and pushing several alternatives. Good luck with that.

I remember the liberal code word of "stay safe" as a parting salutation. Many of them still use it today.

So, if you need surgery that team doesn't have to wear those masks in the operating room?

only to the obese and diabetic. I shook it off like it was nothing in Jan of 2020. Was like the sniffles. Covid killing a lot of people who were obese diabetic and smoking two packs of cigarettes a day who were already on 4 or 5 prescription medications to keep them alive doesn't make it 'devastating'. Take those peoples prescription away and they would die in a month.

The emails I'm referencing pre-date the emergency declaration. He had conversations with other professionals within NIH and elsewhere where he downplayed the mask component of the societal compliance.

Those were from Feb 2020.

A) February 2020 doesn’t count.

B) He was actually telling the truth on those emails that they’re worthless.

It wasn't criminally-negligent, it was deliberate and that meets the standard for manslaughter. They needed to get fatalities up that could be attributed to COVID and the nursing homes were a veritable gold mine for those kinds of mortality stats.

Ehhh.... no. Even the early stuff was altered. It was bad foe the highly vulnerable, not for the population at large. And if it were treated as such, we'd be in a much different position today.

And it was never as bad as the China "news" was showing. Never.

My God man.. poor kids had to wear masks for 8 hours/day at school - even on the fricking playground. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of what children had to go through during that time.

Where did you copy/paste your data from?

The provisional death totals from the CDC for 2020 are over 3,000,000.

Masks are worn in the OR to prevent sweat, snot, spit, and the occasional loose nose hair from dropping into the incision, not to prevent the patient from getting a cold.

It was massively overblown and hit one subgroup extremely hard but that was about it. The overweight with lung issues like COPD or chronic bronchitis were highly susceptible and virtually everyone else faced little risk. Did we get patients in the ER regularly? Absolutely, but most were there out of panic or precaution. Being put on a ventilator is the worst thing you could want to be done to you but most people don’t realize that and Google diagnosed themselves into needing one

To people over 70 with multiple comorbidities, yes.

To everyone else, no. Just a bad case of the flu.
