I'll make you a deal. Write your congress-person and ask them to submit legislation that would apply like rules to gun ownership and voter registration (background check, ID, etc.).

I guarantee you more damage has been done at the voting booth that from the end of a gun barrel.

I will tell you how they will not be better, and actually be much worse.

We have a large population of people that have zero regard for the law, property, or their fellow man. Do you think these people will turn in their guns? LOL.

If you disarm people, these criminals will see it as open season. Crime will actually sky rocket.

If you do not believe this, explain how the cities that voted to defund the police are now seeing an exponential increase in crime. Why is that occurring? I will tell you. When criminals see that they have a much better chance of getting away with something, they act on that.

When they fear that a law abiding citizen is armed, they are far less willing to take that chance.

Getting rid of the 2nd Amendment or doing things that make it cost prohibitive to own a firearm, will do nothing but make our society worse off.

What is the issue.

I own them to protect my family. From whoever I deem it needs protecting from. Foreign or domestic.

That’s why this country is the best

I have never owned a gun. They're not my thing and I've never lived someplace that made me fear for my safety. But I 100% support gun rights because I do not trust my f'n government, and while I don't see a "civil war" I do believe rational people that have weapons at home strike fear in the likes of Nancy Pelosi.

If everywhere else has it figured out and they are so much better, move.
