Right wingers complain whenever anyone aligns with what they decide is "left wing," and argue that they should stay out of politics.
But when someone tries to stay out of politics by not aligning with what is perceived by many as a "right wing" thing, right wingers want them cancelled.
It isn't about participation. Right wingers simply demand that everyone support their causes, or be cancelled.

Why on Earth would anyone think a Confederate Flag is "right wing"?
Wasn't it the historically left wing party who flew them while fighting to save their traditional source of labor?

What a stupid take. Me not buying poor quality pickles is in no way equivalent to insisting that they be removed from shelves. If you want 'em, buy 'em. A more intelligent person wouldn't need that glaring difference pointed out to them.

I love how everyone is just assuming it was some historically accurate video referencing the Confederacy.
It wasn't. As shown in the video link, It was a weird error, and no one is stepping up to claim responsibility.

It wasn't even a video. There were multiple video boards displaying the North Carolina state flag. The Flag then morphed into something that looked like the old Georgia state flag: The State seal on the left side of the flag, and the Rebel battle flag on the right side.
This has never been the official NC State flag, but I dont know enough about NC history to know if something like it was ever used. But there was no reason for the video boards to display it.
The graphic has been removed, and Im sure we will hear more about it.
Now, is this something so terrible that Mt. Olive needs to take their pickle jars and go home? Probably not. Plus, MT. Oliver is bringing attention to the incident, which could have been quietly cleaned up.
Or...maybe the were getting pressure on social media?
