One of the things that caused people to switch their vote to Republican was watching how the media treated Trump. Many people were able to see how hostile the media was in the debates and in interviews. This helped Trump gain votes and encouraged some to question what else the media lied about.
Exposing the media is important, and that's harder to do if you don't engage. The media is going to flip out once the deportations start, so reminding the people how much the media lies may be beneficial.

I cant wait to see the "new and improved" white house press room with representatives from podcasters front and center and the lesser viewed MSM in the back row or standing outside.

If Trump said "I want open borders". Congress within a few minutes would have the border sealed tighter than a tick and hundreds of billion$ for a wall in a few days and msm would be 100% behind the border sealed.

I like that he does those interviews.
What I wish he’d do, is instruct his White House press in those briefings to never take a question from one of the leftist networks. Then listen to them bitch about it.
Then when he does answer a question about it “they are a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, I know it, you know it, they know it. When they decide to actually be independent journalists, we’ll be happy to”
