McConnell sure as shite isn't doing anything beyond chewing (maybe) and shitting and pissing now.

We did not know who was the president during Biden's "term" either.

Lots of people are too oblivious to give a shite or they know and just don't care.

This has been known for months. McConnell’s protege, John Thune, is executing the plan which also has included the blocking of candidate appointments .

Repeal the 17th Amendment ….. the founders knew

Mitch McConnell is the face of the RINO betrayal. But what'd I like to know?

Following word that Mictch McConnell was seriously incapacitated why did his wife Elaine Chao suddenly fly to Beijing to meet with Xi Jinping? Anybody ever find out what that was all about?

What a mess.

The turtle has massive TDS. Trump did more in a few years than the 5urtle has done in about 150 years. The turtle is embarrassed and is a lynchpin in the resistance…….time for the 5urtle to go….

It's not mathematically possible for rural republicans to be against the SAVE Act.

You don’t read good, and that’s ok. Rural republicans may want the SAVE Act, but the fact is that a significant number of them don’t have the kind of ID that would allow them to vote.

The percentage of rural republicans with a passport is very low. There is a significant percentage who do not have an original birth certificate. A significant percentage of married women never get a new birth certificate issued after marriage.

Rural republicans think that the SAVE Act just requires a drivers license. But that is not proof of citizenship and won’t work. That law would have blocked millions of Republican voters.

If you think the SAVE Act would only block the 15 noncitizens who try to vote, you are on crack.

And the second part is that republicans are not trying to pass the SAVE Act because it will make it harder for rural republicans to vote.

No. Only a handful of RINOs don’t want it so they can keep the status quo.

80/20 issues usually get bipartisan support.

The "explosion" of committees in the U.S. Senate—characterized by an overwhelming proliferation of minor, redundant, and overlapping legislative units—occurred primarily between 1866 and 1918. By the end of this period, the Senate alone had ballooned to 74 standing committees.

This is what hampers governing and its all by design.

Such a ridiculous, unfounded assertion. Gaslighting.

Murkowski made all these same arguments when it cam to Alaska.....that and the law would it make it impossible to cast ballots in such a vast state with limited to no transportation in the more remote parts.

This seems more like revenge on Trump than anything.

He’ll leave office without any significant legislation passed Congress would be better served if all of them were fired

I read this and did not even have to look to see who posted....

A drivers license with real ID works. ALL 50 states have real ID.

You cant retroactively change the name on a historical document like a birth certificate (unless you are running for president).

The married woman argument. Let me ask you sparky, when you move to a new address do you change all pertinent info or just leave it so? Same when a woman takes the surname of her husband, she simply changes her information. Stupid stupid argument.

Is Mitch actually showing up for work in the senate? I thought he was totally disabled. Mitch doesn’t have the physical or mental ability to block anything. He likely doesn’t know what day it is.

That could make him the Democrat front runner for the 2028 Presidential nomination.

Wrong. Any lawful resident, including a green card holder and a lawful asylum seeker can get a real ID. Try again.

Wrong again. A birth certificate can be changed to reflet a different gender and a name change.

This is why republicans in Congress have never tried to pass the SAVE Act. Their voters are too ignorant to figure it out.
