Millennials are set to receive $68 Trillion over the next 2-3 decades from Boomers and GenX. $68 Trillion will comprise the largest transfer of wealth in world history, assuming the Marxists who millennials seem to vote for don't get their hands on it first.

Are you prepared for tax impact of the $68 trillion great wealth transfer? Here are some options to reduce the bite
by Kate Dore, CFP®

KEY POINTS
• It’s estimated that nearly 45 million U.S. households will transfer $68 trillion over the next 25 years, according to Cerulli Associates.
• With tax laws in flux, estate planning is more critical than ever, financial experts say.
• To lessen the tax bite, families may consider Roth IRA conversions, life insurance, gifting and other strategies.
The greatest wealth transfer in history is underway, and taxes may take a bite from inheritances without proper estate planning, financial advisors say.
It’s estimated that nearly 45 million U.S. households will transfer more than $68 trillion over the next 25 years, according to Cerulli Associates. Baby boomers hold the bulk of the wealth, thanks to a decade of stock market and real estate growth.
...
Here’s what families should know as they weigh options to transfer wealth.
While the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017 made sweeping changes — such as cutting the highest income-tax rate and nearly doubling the estate-tax exemption — many provisions will sunset after 2025.
President Joe Biden, meanwhile, has called for levy hikes on the wealthy, including raising the top tax rate, bumping levies on capital gains and taxing inherited property at death.

Any wonder why they are now focusing on estate taxes?

$68 Trillion with 45 million families is $15.1 million per family. This is the average?

What if your woke children donate their money to BLM, ANTIFA Bail Fund, GFM for race hoax perpetuators who claim victim hood, extreme leftists candidates, etc etc etc.
Would you leave your estate to them?

well, I was assured by a core of about 5 MORON MILLENIALS here last week that Boomers are without doubt the worse generation ever for not giving up our money so they could sleep late perpetually and go on drug junkets to the Cayman Islands quite as much as they wanted.
REAL idiots. REAL stupidity. Wanna bet they come back and demonstrate it again?
Well, later since they are sleeping late for a few more hours..
Bless dey puddin hearts

That's assuming Boomers don't spend it all on Healthcare. Which, knowing how selfish they are they will want to live until there isn't one cent left to pass down to heirs.

Millennials are enamored with Marxist politicians like no other generation in US history. Marxists have to divide to conquer. They have to convince naive millennials that they're somehow getting ripped off in order to actually rip them off.

Yep, how awful for a person to spend their own money to look after their own health

I was arguing with a friend of mine about this. I said our parents are boomers. He didn’t believe me. I was like dude, we were born a few days apart and our parents are older than 65. They are boomers.
Idiot Millennials don’t even know they have baby boomer parents.

quote:Actuarial analysts say otherwise. e.g., You may not be familiar with a program called Medicare. But in terms of the wealth transfer being addressed, Medicare is protective. It may add to the debt, but it won't impact the $68 Trillion.

Boomers are likely to drain those retirement accounts and other assets to spend them on hookers and booze then leave a bill behind for their kids.

The millenial vs boomer debate is freaking retarded. Progressives were able to get conservative millenials to accept marxistesque beliefs about their parents. Quite fascinating. Let's confiscate our inheritance while screaming to the sky about the labor market when half of us haven't been in the workforce for 10 years
