The belligerents are holding out that Trump will lose power. If he retains both the House and Senate, both conflicts will quickly end.

Trump said he would end the Russia/Ukraine conflict on day one of his second term with a "Republican" House and Senate majority. Every time progress is made towards peace, Ukraine does something to erase it. Russia responds in turn. The cycle continues.
Until the Western world completely stops funding this war, it will carry on. And our "Republican" majority Congress has been all too happy to keep giving Ukraine money. Are they just going to stop doing that if they maintain majorities? No. It's been almost two years and the Senate still hasn't confirmed many of Trump's appointments from January of 2024, so why would they suddenly decide to start keeping their word now?
These people are worthless. The American people are the only ones who pay the price. We are given "choices" in a two-party system and we're just voting for one side or the other of a trick coin. Whatever the power brokers want, is what they get.

Can’t blame any such GOP offenders, much less take action to address the problem……Trump gets lambasted by the principled conservatives for attempting that.

Here is the problem. There are about 5 RINOs that will kill anything the gop tries to do. We all know who they are. The deep state/money never wants to see a legitimate majority and damn shore not a super majority. It would cost them to much to keep control or even loose control. Now they keep it close enough to buy a few in both houses and control the narratives They also control the msm to keep it close enough to continue their control over dc. This has been happening for decades. The republic is controlled by a beast within and outside our borders.

This is a Foreign Policy matter. It is one of the few things the POTUS is in charge of from the States.
