Vance speaking now. Cutting off Microsoft.
Laid off 6k Americans last year. Hired 6k H1Bs and an additional 3k Green Card holders.
Pretty brazen on their part.

It’s not just Microsoft. This kind of marginalization of American workers is WIDESPREAD across many industries.

But everyone loves Microsoft. Apple has done the same stuff. But no one brings up Apple.

Who was in control of the DOL that granted the prevailing wage determination for them in 2025? Who was in charge of USCIS granting the I-129's or I-140's?
I don't necessarily disagree with the policy decision, but it takes two to tango. Microsoft couldn't commit "fraud" without DOL and DHS being compliant or incompetent.

"H1B is how they get in...a PERM program is how they STAY. After a couple cycles of H1B, companies apply for a PERM to let them stay indefinitely."
This is huge!
The PERM program is being suspended for Microsoft.
The days of taking advantage of Americans are OVER!!

A lot of people don’t know where the name Microsoft came from
Early on all the founders lived in the same house and bill liked to walk around naked a lot
The company is named after bill gates nickname

I head Vance speak on Sirius XM on channel 114. And he also cited Visa fraud with most of the Ivy League schools and MIT. They pay foreign grad students more than US grad students. And Vance called the H1B foreigners who are then recommended for permanent residency "Indentured Servants" for the companies.
There is fraud going on across this country left and right and up and down.

We cannot move forward with any sense of community unless every bit of the fraud is addressed and the #1 priority moving forward being never letting it happen again. Measures to end it need to be implemented on the scale of Covid. Every last dollar needs to be tracked.
Add that we sit here and watch politicians become generationally wealthy while in office and we have a recipe for completely dysfunctional country.
We cannot trust that any politician is serving in the best interest of the nation until every one of them is clearly interested in ending the fraud and theft of the American people.
I would like to see every politician dragged out of their homes IF they do not start combatting these issues.

Vance tough on H1B? You're going to need to do a wellness check on some posters.

PERM is a joke, it's always been a joke.

Well, I work for one of those companies. Time to go ask for a raise? Or is it too soon?

Tulane and Oklahoma and probably every university have job openings for H1B visas for jobs that they offer degrees in. They should be SHUT DOWN until this crap stops

This isn't what happened. They're still free to use H1B. They're banned from using the PERM program, which provides a route for the "workers" (immigrants) to stay permanently.
I mean, it's still a good thing, but they're not banning these companies from using H1B entirely.

Good, they've been doing it for nearly 30 years now. About time.

I mean if you got folks that want to work from home on inflated wages, there is always someone in the Philippines willing to do it for less.
