Still waiting on suspects or charges in the shooting the other day, where 20 PEOPLE were shot by 3 men who were caught very clearly on camera perpetrating the act...

Not to mention the multiple brawls in the Miami airport in which the TSA and Homeland Security, or any police were shockingly absent.

What does that say about our society? Why even have rules at all? How can you show up to work and pay taxes and be compliant and stuff, knowing other people just mow down and take the lives of scores of others to get what they want with no consequences whatsoever. Totally out of control. It is going to be a long bumpy road down for America

Everybody knows the law is a joke. The entire legal system has been politicized and is impotent to deliver actual justice. If you think its limited to liberal cities, just wait. Scary time for our country, its like a flailing monster

Miami is fine. What isn't fine is a certain group of people committing crimes.

Pretty much every major city is out of control right now

Criminals feel emboldened

Elected officials are either outright promoting unrest/criminality or they're paralyzed with fear and refuse to stop it

Cops are, naturally, unwilling to jeopardize their freedom to protect people who loathe them on behalf of people who demonize them

No, they are doing as they are told.

Cops do not work independently.

Sometimes I can't figure out if Democrats have done this on purpose or if it's just their typical incompetence and inability to understand first and second order consequences.

Any city, anywhere in the world, that has those same people has the same result.

I think it's like everything else from the left

The tip top of the totem pole acts with intentionality while telling the foot soldiers/dem voters some feel-good (in lefty world) reason for what's happening. So some are sitting back and enjoying the results, while others are genuinely confused that the magical equality quick fix seems to be backfiring.

We shouldn’t be challenging what goes on in some communities, so I’ve been told from the left. Some want law enforcement and some don’t, some are fine with knife fights or gun fights as a normal course of settling disputes

I’m not and will avoid these cities or areas that do. I welcome the rule of law wherever I live.

This seems to be what the democrats and big cities want . It sucks for the good people in those areas but until they start to vote for change it will only get worse .

I read an article this morning where two of the three shooters were arrested.

The issue isn't limited to Miami, it's a national problem in our cities. It has taken a long time to get to where we are, and it will be almost impossible to fix without some major catalyst that totally changes the national perspective.

There is a cancer growing in our inner cities, a cancer comprised of lack of education, lack of nuclear family structure, lack of respect, lack of discipline, and lack of common sense.

We've allowed generations of people to become totally dependant on the government to provide for their well-being. They don't know anything different and our hope that they will wake up one morning and approach the world from an "American" perspective is nothing but a pipedream.

There are thousands of hours of video evidence out there to show whats happening, but like most "hard" conversations our country and media refuse to discuss it and actively try to suppress any discussion of it. We've allowed our nation's institutions to become intellectually dishonest and call the sky green and the grass blue with no rebuttal at all.

We are truly reaping what we've sown as a nation. There is no quick or even mid-term fix at this point without a major event such as the Great Depression, a Civil War, or WW3.

Criminals are emboldened as they won’t be charged, but god forbid a normal person stand up and protect themselves from these thugs. That person will have the full weight of the police, FBI, DOJ, and media come down upon them.

I am very much of the mindset now that I need to be responsible for my own safety. You cannot rely on the “system“ to protect you any longer. I think the videos that you see online or showing a rapid breakdown of our general societal laws.

Miami today isn’t nearly as bad as it’s reputation from the 80’s/90’s. LA/MS/AL have areas that are worse than Miami-Dade, they just don’t get the national coverage that Miami gets.

The frustrating part is there isn't anything we can really do about it other than taking care of ourselves and our families.

I happen to live in NW Arkansas which has avoided a lot of the stuff you see happening in the metro areas; however, it is slowly creeping in here as well.

The wife and I are looking to move somewhere much more rural. We looked seriously at Idaho, but so many West coasters are moving there that we scratched it off our list. We're currently looking at an area reaching from North central Tennessee up through eastern Kentucky and reaching into West Virginia.
