Between you and the OP this is the anecdata thread of cultural destruction. "This story about this one lesbian" and "All the lesbians I know".

I had just seen Kate McKinnon perform the song “Hallelujah” on SNL and discovered that she’s a lesbian.
That is the worst fricking moment in SNL history. If Norm, Belushi, Farley, or Murphy were still on the cast, they would have directly sabotaged that skit. Not only that, they had Dave Mother fricking Chapelle, the greatest sketch comedian of all time, as the host. The cold opening was obvious: Trump meets Obama in the Oval Office with Chapelle portraying Obama.
But instead they went with a god damn funeral for Hillary Clinton, the most loathsome politician in modern American history. Hey, SNL, you do know that half the country voted for Trump, right? Also SNL has no fricking right to complain since they let Trump host SNL during his campaign. Not only that, but Trump beating Hillary is objectively funny. She was such a loathsome bitch that she first lost the Presidency to a black guy named Barrack HUSSEIN Obama. Then she has to rig an election against a septucential socialist Jew that looked like he just escaped from Arkham, all to lose it to an orange pussy grabbing game show host. If you can’t make any humor out of that, I don’t know what to tell you.
And now back to the subject, this is what made her leave her husband and realize she was gay? Objectively the worst moment in SNL history made someone gay. That’s how bad that cold open was. SNL should still be just fricking embarrassed for that and should never be able to live that one down.

All of the lesbians I've worked with (about a dozen) all were married when they were young and then 'realized' they were lesbian around age 30.
We have a close family friend who is a lesbian in her 60s and she was married for about six years when she was in her early 20s. We’ve never met her ex husband.
Maybe you’re right.

In the good ole days she would have been flogged and then told to get back in the kitchen...

You know what a gay horse's favorite food is?

Married with 2 kids and Realized she was a lesbian
Oh yeah, like, I'm happily married with 2 beautiful kids, and began to realize I'd enjoy threesomes, and just having sex with multiple women. All I could think of is scoring poon with other women as often as i could. Yada, yada, yada. I would be one narcissistic S.O.B.

Women lose their minds at 29... Without fail.
On another note,
Does it count if wifey can pull OT10 tail? I rather enjoy it

The woman wants to get with other people, and knows she's an a-hole for doing it.... Unless she's a lesbian, then she doesn't have to feel as bad because it's not her fault.

I constantly had to remind myself, “You get one life. This is your life and no one else’s.”
This is what pisses me off about people. No responsibility or personal accountability. She brought children into the world. Everything changes at that point. It is not just your life at that point.

This is unbelievably selfish and mean. Destroy your family because all of a sudden after watching some broad sin Hallelujah on SNL you decide you like to trim the carpet. Yeah she gets happiness.....oh yes because if momma ain't satisfied, ain't no one satisfied.
This stooooopid broad who says prior to this moment she mentions she had a happy family and life. It's not so simple as she thinks. Divorce even among straight types devastates kids
But it's all about her happiness...right

The person she really adores is herself. The disregard for those supposedly closest is proof.
Prediction: this will not be her last discovery of suddenly unmet needs.
When her new ‘perfect’ life begins to bore as the old ‘perfect’ life did, she’ll watch some other video, declare an epiphany and shed her skin again.
A woman unhappy with her success and comfort divorces her husband, goes on a trip, eats a nice meal, dabbles unseriously with Eastern spirituality, has an affair and declares it enlightenment. That’s Elizabeth Gilbert’s memoir “Eat, Pray, Love” from a decade ago. This best-selling book and Julia Roberts movie has been taken as a how-to guide when it’s a really a warning.

quote:so you've never noticed howm gay guys are different physiologically from the normal straight men out there. They are absolutely "born that way", just like it's no accident that most elite female athletes are lesbians.
No such thing as “born with it”. It’s a lifestyle.

She's celebrated for this, because of the lesbian angle. "Yaasss girl!!! You do you"
But had she left her family for some dick, not so much.
That's a great point, actually.
