This happens all the time. For many, it's just a way out of the "trapped with kids/family" angst that befalls many women.

They have to fill space, so they have an archive of "agenda stories" that use buzzwords that are topical for the month.
I'm surprised she didn't write:

I guarantee you if you were to dig behind the scenes here you would find the dad wasn't meeting needs, either her obviously needed attention or the laying of pipe. Maybe both.
