You are aware the vast majority of the debts you are referencing aren’t new spending increases from Trump? Some are but most of that debt was baked into the cake long ago. The interest on the debt alone is 1 trillion per year so even if the next President didn’t spend a single new dollar on spending increases the debt would still increase. It feels like you think that Trump spent 11.5 trillion dollars above and beyond the current budget

We double the debt every 10 years, so you are right that Trump isn't really the first or anything.

But you trying to pass the buck on Trump isn't going to fly after he increased spending even further with the BBB and went to war on conservatives who didn't support it.

So to claim Trump isn't part of the bullshite is just false. He has an economic policy of inflation.

Vox is still legitimately caught up in the Q stuff and somehow thinks a guy that can't do much against the MIC and deep state is going to undo the entire banking and monetary system.

Here's who owns the federal debt:

* American private/domestic holders: $18.48T (46.1%)
* Federal Reserve: $4.49T (11.2%)
* Foreign holders: $9.30T (23.2%)
* Intragovernmental: $7.78T (19.4%)
TOTAL: $40.05T

Intragovernmental holdings means one branch of the government is borrowing from another. So when you add it all up, about 77% of all debt is owed to American banks/investment funds/private people or to our own government.

As for the foreigners who own it:

1) Japan - 1.2 trillion
2) UK - 900 billion
3) China - 600 billion
4) Canada - 200 billion
5) Belgium - 200 billion
6) Cayman Islands - 200 billion
(the list goes on with each country holding less on down the line).

Out of these foreign numbers, about 58% of it is held by private individuals (through investment portfolios, etc.) and the rest (42%) held by governments/central banks.

This brings us to a philosophical "what is money" discussion. Did you know that about 90% of dollars "out there" do not have a physical bill backing them? Not only do we not have a gold standard, we really don't even have physical notes backing shite either. Most dollars are literally just numbers on a ledger (or in a computer). The only thing stopping banks from "adding some zeroes" to their balance sheets is the law.

Every time Trump tries to not spend money courts say he has to.

I'm curious to what MAGA can do, assuming that refers to trump since congress isn't MAGA.

AKA Social security. Which is why I laugh when people say "I want my money back!" It's already gone.

Yep! The greatest thing backing the USD is confidence in the ability of the US government to tax it's citizens.

They know. They just don't want to hear it. It's all so-called entitlements: SS, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP and so on and so on. It's all on auto pilot just snowballing as time goes on. Now it's compounded by tens of millions of third-world illegals who have been added to the government teat. Don't believe me? Just look at a pie chart of government spending.

Using logic and reasoning to explain why someone is presenting data dishonestly is frowned upon. You're supposed to just agree with the crowd to show you're not in a cult.

dude....it is hard to recover from the policies of the dems, and if they win again, it may be the literal the end of this country as we know it. I wish Trump would go full throttle and cut all of ya'lls welfare fraud bs out....just scrap it and open food centers instead. Basic food supplies. Save a fortune right there.

I am very conservative. I support Trump. Welfare fraud is our biggest issue. Cut it all out, and open food centers to distribute basic food supplies.

He stated that if given two terms, he’d not only make the deficit 0, he would pay off the debt. Only a fool would think he’s on his way to either.

That's what the Trump camp made up. Elon has publicly stated that the subsidies should have been removed before Trump even announced he was running.

Umm, again, you are trying to twist what I said into what you want. I didn't say inflation wasn't the result of money printing.

I said inflation was necessary to deal with the debt.

Again, you are trying to twist what I said.

I didn't say we could print our way out. I said that we need both inflation and economic growth.
