quote:

The tension in their one-on-one meeting is reflective of the strained relationship Trump has with Macron and other European leaders, who remain frustrated that the American president started a war with Iran, has threatened to annex Greenland, and expressed sympathy for Russia in its war with Ukraine.

Yesterday we had a difficult discussion with President Trump,” Macron told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when he greeted him at the G7.

quote:

The two leaders were caught on a hot mic, discussing the best way to handle Trump ahead of a leaders’ meeting on Ukraine. Trump has been critical of Zelensky and has blamed Ukraine for the start of the war.

Speaking in English as they walked the grounds of Hotel Royal, Macron encouraged Zelensky to stay at the G7 summit longer than Tuesday but Zelensky said he was expected in Brussels, presumably about Ukraine’s membership application to the EU.

quote:

Macron asked him if he had arranged a bilateral meeting with President Trump and Zelensky appeared to say no. The Ukrainian president added that he had asked for one when he spoke to Trump on Sunday.

If he thinks Trump is difficult, wait until he gets to his impending Islamic civil war

Well us pulling back on NATO combined with the attached may have taken a few teeth out of their proposal to "defend" ukraine.....

France and Germany officially cancelled the manned fighter jet component of the €100 billion ($116 billion) Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program. First announced in 2017, the multinational effort was scrapped after irreconcilable design and control disputes between French contractor Dassault Aviation and the European consortium Airbus

Macron is a corrupt, bought-and-paid-for POS. Just like the "leaders" of Britain and Canada.

Hard for them to defend their country if America is not in front. That video in Trump’s first term of him pushing aside to get the front position is exactly what the European leadership wholeheartedly wants but criticizing every single aspect of Trump

The blame rest on Obama and Nuland. No better way to cover up the massive corruption between the US (Deep State) and Ukraine than to start a war. They did. The blood of hundreds of thousands is on their hands. And the irony is that both believe that they are doing 'God's' work. "Wickedness in high places". Sickening.

It is unhealthy to know too much about the 'sausage making' in life. Unless one has an impeccable Faith. It's ugly.

And Macron means difficult as in, the French probably surrendered again - throwing up the white flag to Islamic immigration. Well, it would be white, but we all know that's racist as hell.

Im sure it wasn't 'pleasant '!
Trump told Macron he would place 100% tariff on all French wine /champagne exported to the US unless Macron drops the 3% tax on all US digital companies.
French Wine/Champagne exports account for 20% of French Wine/Champagne revenue(2.5 billion last year).

Have they not realized Trump is not a push over. They need to step up their spending on their military.

When you are little bitches like Macron, Starmer, Merz, etc. I suppose any meeting with Trump will be difficult.

The real difficult meeting that has to happen is in regards to the censorship of the tech companies.

They’re trying to backdoor them into censoring not only their citizens but our own by threatening them with draconian punishments and prison for the owners if they don’t play ball and only Trump/US can force them to back down.

Didn't SCOTUS rule that Trump can't do stuff like this, that Tariffs are a congressional thing?
