I surely can't be the only person alive who believes that it's more than a little fricky that a vaccine that has only been in development for a year, and no long-term side effects data exists, will be fully approved by the FDA.

They have had plenty of time to study already FDA approved drugs such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin's effectiveness against coronavirus and they won't touch it.... but these brand new vaccines will be approved?

I'm betting the highest bidder out of these vaccine manufacturers gets the first FDA approval.

The "approval" is nothing more than a political ploy!

100% BS!

100% refund - before 1st day of class

50% refund - September 24th.

How many of those dates are PRIOR to the rumored Labor Day-ish approval? Bastards.

That’s the tuition refund schedule every semester since the beginning of time, genius

I'm furious about this. My son will be Jr. at LSU this semester and it's retarded for him to get the vaccine. The kid has zero comorbidities, plays basketball at the recc center almost everyday, a BMI of 22 and probably had the COVID and didn't even know it. Now he has to assume the unknown risk of a vaccine that won't even help him.

THIS IS frickING RETARDED.

I'll ask him if he would rather sign the waiver. I wonder if LSU will accept their own waiver when it is tried?

So let’s see.

~26,000 students
~18,500 unvaxxed
Force covid testing before semester begins.

How many positives? 10%?
So ~1850 positives heading into start of fall

They make the rules as they go so who knows. Laws are made to be ignored

A smart black student would sue the ever living shite out of LSU for a Civil Rights violation because this policy adversely affects black people.

You can’t legally implement an anti-black policy under the disguise of health protection.

Probably the best route. At this point I guess the worst case is they send you nastygram. I'm also concerned that they won't allow unvaxxed on campus but the logistics of enforcing that all of sudden are going to be pretty difficult unless the teachers do it. Maybe the best case is just to sit tight and react in your best interest as circumstances evolve.

Been expecting this. Once it’s fully approved it’s gonna be mandated to just about anything

Well then they better exempt you if you had it otherwise it’s just political garbage

We all know that prior infection will not be an exemption.

This stat right here should prevent the act being taken.

Gumbo sign the exemption ... I posted the form from LSU in this thread ... doesn't list covid yet but I'm sure it will.
