hope they mandate that everyone stepping foot on campus for sporting events does the same.

Agreed. Tiger stadium should require proof of vaccination or negative test.

LSU exemption form from their website

Here is the exemption form that LSU itself has. Scroll to the bottom to see conditions of exemption.

Covid isn't listed on there at this time BUT if the others are able to be exempt from, then this should be as well.

What do you mean? The program in general is necessary to keep vaccine production and development online. Not talking about just Covid.

If they do this, most people will barely reach their seats before its time to leave at halftime.

It will eventually pay out for Covid vaccine injuries if any meet the criteria. Pretty much all vaccines have a tiny amount of cases with compensable injury. That doesn't mean the vaccines aren't safe.

Nothing is 100% safe with no risks.

Also, if by chance you've had covid, I'd inquire to see if that counts ... I mean it should but ...

Per Louisiana RS 17:170:

quote:

F. In the event of an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease at the location of an educational institution or facility enumerated in Subsection A of this Section, the administrators of that institution or facility are empowered, upon the recommendation of the office of public health, to exclude from attendance unimmunized students and clients until the appropriate disease incubation period has expired or the unimmunized person presents evidence of immunization.

The question is, is COVID really a "vaccine-preventable disease"?

It’s not listed cause it’s vaccine isn’t yet “mandated”

If an outbreak happens on campus, we’re virtual in a heartbeat so this is probably irrelevant

Because slamming the developers with massive injury awards causes them to stop developing and producing vaccines. It has already happened with the DPT vaccine back in the 80's which gave rise to the program.
