FFS, can we just start reprocessing this shite and actually use it? Even Europe uses MOX fuel but we don't.
Between dry cask and spent fuel pools, we have so much energy just sitting around collecting dust all over the country.

Yes please do. It was my understanding that we don’t need to store the waste because we can reuse it

Who's going to reprocess it? Who here has the equipment to do that? Why would anyone invest the money here to reprocess fuel when the next admin can always decimate your business on a whim?
Note: I'm aware that there are locations in the us that have the ability to do it. But no one has the capacity to reprocess on the scale you're talking about.
