More justice than incarceration? For whom?

you had to make a list of 100 things you would improve about our state, would executing inmates on death row be on it?
Frees up resources to be used on other projects. It is the fiscally responsible thing to do.
So Clancy?

Inmates are victims of prison violence at alarming rates
Do you know the best way to avoid prison violence?

She is a hardcore prisoner advocate. The actual victims of their crimes are of distant, secondary, concern.
People like her believe you can take a thug drug dealer, offer them college courses to take in a low security prison environment, and the state would be pumping out engineers, chemists, and business leaders.

That's not how the budget operates in Louisiana. Money can't just be moved from the Department of Corrections to some other project because an inmate died.
Not to mention that the state of Louisiana spends a minimum of $15.6 million per year to maintain its capital punishment system. There is nothing fiscally responsible about that.

And the answer is SUPER easy to do too. Like, ridiculously easy.

The priorities of politicians are so out of touch.
True. They should stop using drugs and just shoot these people.

Can you name any of the victims you claim to care about? Reads a lot like virtue signaling to me.
I'm an advocate for limited government power.

Think about all the other things we waste money on like public schools, food stamps, Medicaid, welfare
It’s time the working man got some free shite
We need beer stamps
Save us Jeff Landry

Louisiana has placed a deposit on a lethal injection drug with a secret supplier as it prepares to execute condemned killer Todd Wessinger
Good.
Todd Wessinger should’ve been dead 20 years ago for what he did. He literally cold-bloodedly executed people he knew and had worked with in commission of an armed robbery.

Every one that has been victimized by the people you advocate and virtue signal for. The people who just wanted to be left alone, have their stuff be where they left it, who wanted their property to be like they left it, who didn't asked to be maimed, beaten, robbed, or killed.
And you claiming someone else is trying to virtue signal is the most hilarious thing someone can post on this board.
And you are for limited government power?? Weren't you the one on here crying about a redundant criminal clerk position being eliminated in New Orleans??

Who do I advocate for? When I say that the government should not be able to execute its citizens, which of your personal emotions do you inject into those words?

Innocent people also get executed. The last person sentenced to LWOP in Louisiana to be released was Henry Montgomery. Montgomery was originally arrested in 1963 at age 17 for shooting a sheriff's deputy in East Baton Rouge Parish. He was later given an automatic sentence of life without parole. He was released on parole in November 2021 at the age of 75 after spending nearly 58 years in prison.
He has not reoffended since his release.

These leftists don't want murderers dead. They want them voting, getting sex changes, watching HBO, smoking pot.
