Except it was neither. It was an argument over the killer's truck. Don't mess with an ole meth head baw's truck.

Also how does a guy have 230 felony charges in his history and still walk the streets? Whatever happened to "3 strikes" laws?

Charges aren't convictions.

The Juvy system in Florida is a joke. Judges kick you out on the streets time and time again.

Pinellas County (Clearwater)

I was the last of four homes hit on the same afternoon. I was not meant to be hit until they found $2500 cash in the home next door. Deputy told me .."Good Luck, High School kids."

They were caught a week later. Trial ....waiting in the hall before the courtroom opened. Step Mom suddenly explodes "I've had enough, he goes to jail or I pack tonight!"

Three prior convictions. Four pending ....One problem ... the gang took a rifle from my home. Armed Robbery.... They got five years. In sentencing the Judge had the Father stand "Get used to seeing him in prison. His next four cases are before me. Expect this to be a 15 year event for you. He immediately goes to jail, no chance to run. Say your Good Byes in a couple of hours."

Seems this Judge had lost his sense of humor.

Could this not still be true for the evidence part of a truck being stolen?

So, when he went to the store, he was going to hide a stolen truck, or engine?
The claim that people were making, was that it was an obvious drug deal gone bad( as seen on TV) and Dad really left the scene, to go hide evidence, and not really to go find help.
Old Dad, was supposed to pick his grown Son up throw him in the truck, and rush him to the hospital. Just like in The Movies.

You know that judge who granted bond has to be feeling bad today.

Do judges even care?
I don’t get the impression they do.

His lawyer needs to market the shite out of this. 230 felony charges, and my client still walked free.

Here is the deal: The story about the truck/ engine is made up shite. The reason they followed the guy to the lake was to rob him. They saw him alone at The Dollar General, and saw that he had money and followed him. Murder in the process of a robbery, get's these guys the death penalty. Murder because of an argument is not so bad, according to the law. These guys know the ropes, so they made up the story about the stolen truck/ engine to try and avoid the death penalty.

Pretty much the reason majority of men are in jail. Think someone posted that the victim was known to be banging the guys gf. Guess it was going down while he was in jail.

That was a different person, who I suppose is no longer a suspect. His name is Kilpatrick I believe.
