Well it’s settled then. You have declared it an accident and you have all of the evidence. Thank you for the quick and factual evidence and detailed report inspector. GTFO of here with your speculations. You nor I know for sure what happened.

I have my captains license do you? I am laughing at you. What happened here is no accident. Not sure what happened but it was not an accident. Whether it be intentional from the captain/crew or external as in someone accessing control of the ships navigation remotely I do not know. Either way it was not a “accident”.

So one diesel and multiple generators and/or switch gear? At least on the boats I've been on, the diesel would have its own generator(s) so that it could run independent of ship's power, and there are auxiliary steering systems, even down to verbal communications from the bridge to the engine room so that ship can navigate if there are systems failures. It's a lot of stuff to go wrong at just the right time.
I know one thing. I am not crossing the ocean in a ship with only one engine for propulsion. Neither am I going to insure one if I ever get into the insurance business, or loan anyone any money to build one if I am ever in the business of loaning money.

Act of sabotage can’t be ruled out. The Russians could be itching for payback from the Crocus City Hall attack. China/Russia can easily hack into ships. To give credit to this theory, if something similar happens in a short period of time then you know cyber attack is the culprit.

It wasn't sabotage, though.
Has this been confirmed?

Thank you for posting together so I would not have to copy from multiple posts! The inspector says it was an accident. I say it was not. The video and testimony we have heard so far suggests that it was on purpose. Believe what you want too. I will link boiteibuttplug/bidens explanation for all of you to high five over shortly.

Possible? Sure. Likely? No.
Not racing to declare what it was or wasn’t but it’s a long shot it was truly nefarious

Link to said testimony suggesting it was on purpose...

You nor I know for sure what happened. Yet YOU posted: quote:This was not an accident period. So apparently you think you do know what happened. Got it.
You posted and I replied. I think I know what did not happen and that it was no accident.

See above and look to anything but the msm. Use common sense and understand maritime/harbor SOP.

Correct! And conversely not all “conspiracies” are incorrect. Each must be examined with their own merits. I feel this one is pretty easy to see as an accident based off an unfortunate series of events.

If sabotage IS discovered to be the cause, the FBI will be blaming it on Putin or MAGA white supremacists.

Yeah no. As someone who has been solely responsible for all electrical on USN ships up to aircraft carriers I can assure you that you don’t know what you are talking about.
There are times when loss of critical systems can cause a complete loss of control. Experienced it a few times. You could clearly see from videos that they were actively trying to regain control. They even called ahead and warned authorities. No sabotage or terror.

Sure. Mystery ballot boxes are constantly being dropped in the middle of the night, then counted under total secrecy.
Major natural gas lines routinely explode on their own.
Novel viruses manufacture themselves in high security virus labs in China and often show themselves out the door. 11 months before critical elections.

No, but I wouldn’t rule out a cyber attack, as minuscule as it may be, a lot of crazy azz sh!t has been happening the last few years that I would have never dreamt, and even if Sabotage was involved somehow, it would never be known. I assume the power outage caused the whole thing, but what caused the power outage at the most critical point?
