I was in a shop last weekend on the strip and can't tell you how many girls I saw get out of a car during a red light and get out and twerk for everyone and then run back in. Or every one of them taking selfies while walking.
This wasn't spring break in DB. This was a targeted takeover by groups on social media who already plan on being back the next 2 weekends. Will be interesting to see how the mayor actually responds.

For years, Orange Beach has run ads on Internet, radio, and television telling spring breakers if you want to party, don’t come here. Orange Beach wants families as in parents with their kids who were being supervised. They actually spend more money and are much less trouble than the college age spring breakers.

I have to imagine so many areas closing up shop for Spring Break makes the areas that haven't banned it even more congested.

I'll give you that, but the cops have taken enforcement to ridiculous levels over the past 6 or7 years even to just spot checking houses that college kids rent for uneraged drinking and randomly putting the screws on kids .
Personally, I don't know why the kids even bother anymore.

In 2000 I got to rub up on Carmen Elektra. That's all I've got

Everyone has a gun now. Welcome to the result of 50 years of republican gun promotion.

What he's saying that 20 years ago spring break for poor kids from Monroe might have been three days in the outskirts of Memphis where you could afford to drive to. Now any knucklehead from Sipsey, AL that is on public assistance can fly to Florida.

we had them then too,
hanging on the rack in the truck in the high school parking lot

They ruined the Houston rodeo too

We had hunting guns in the back windows of pickups at school during hunting season. Somehow we managed not to shoot each other.

I saw an opportunity to bust out a Bidenism and I took it. Not sorry.

Actually the studies indicate that fewer households have guns than they did in, say, 1965.
There are more guns relative to the population simply because people have more disposable income now and people who like guns are more prone to collect them instead of owning 1 or 2 like they did back then.
I remember high school kids rolling up to school with loaded rifles in gun racks in the back windshield of trucks. Number of school shootings = zero.

Jeesh, Dude, how out of touch with reality are you? This is what happened and has nothing at all to do with Republicans...

Then the communities who like the added revenue will privately complain that their revenue is down.....which, I personally would like to see in places like Escambia and surrounding counties.
You guys started this problem way back in the late 70s. People took you up on your marketing pitch and that part of Florida does nicely in March and early April. Now you still want the money and activity but you also found a way to obtain revenue enhancements. By harassing the students who bring in the money....forget about the flash mobs, etc they should be dealt with, they have to be. But the other stuff is gratuitous.

In fairness, it's not just spring break. It's everything.
Remember when we started hearing the mainstream talk more about street gangs in the 80s? Everyone was afraid they'd get robbed and maybe even stabbed by a gang member if they ventured into the wrong area.
"But he was killed by a man with a switchblade knife, for forty-three dollars my friend lost his life."
These days, it's not even confined to street gangs or specific locales. It's cultural and has moved into every corner that used to be deemed "safe". And a switchblade is the least of your concerns when an urban youth will pull out a pistol and shoot you dead without hesitation just because he feels "disrespected" and doesn't even need a reason to feel that way.
It's about culture, not race. But looking at the culture, there is inargubly a certain race that gravitates toward it.

Get creative...
Well, thats my point! We shouldn't have to "get creative ". Its perfectly fine if someone speaks unfavorably about white folks, but....
