No, you drooling idiot. I don't want to be near black spring break but the business owners don't want the white kids either. Having your condo trashed is bad whether somebody was shot in the parking lot or not.

rowdy time
Ie smoking weed on the beach or idiots bringing glass bottles. Not stampedes and flash mobs in grocery stores.

Naw. Partisan is a subset of political
This discussion is an economic one (which I described) and a sociological one (the racist angle).
Ultimately this thread is a "bitch about black people" thread that tries to contort itself into a political discussion and fails in doing so. It shouldn't be on here and should be on the OT.

Poor kids like vacation just as much as white kids.

Correct.
The only political angle to this discussion is the local regulatory response in banning Spring Break (generally, including the white kind) along the Florida coast.
For a recent example, see:
OT thread from yesterday

Except for those of us who are pointing out that nobody wants white spring breakers either; not if they've had them for a few years.
In any event the problem is absolutely policy related.

I made that point, too, and it is the correct point, but that's not what OP is going for.

I see that this is going to be your, "I have some free time on my hands today, so I'm going to randomly disagree with something obvious just to keep my chops up" thread du jour.

I was there for spring break in the 80s. What a great time to be alive.

Define this "something obvious" so we're all on the same page.

I had an assumption but wanted to be fair to let him define it. I don't see what's wrong with that.
Having people define their arguments is important online to avoid allegations of straw men, etc.

But, with EBT restrictions, how? I thought Pookie JR couldn't afford breakfast?

It's more a statement of our incredible SOL. Our "poor" aren't poor anymore.
Their culture, however, isn't typically the best, even with that higher SOL.

Correct. There was even the occasional fight but people either watched or broke it up, they didn't turn it into a mob scene. And when the cops showed up your butthole puckered and you said "yes sir" and poured out your beer. Now they have cans & bottles hitting their car before they can even stop at a disturbance.

The last time the crime rate in Florida was as high as it was in the 1970's was in the early 2000's. It has steadily declined since the mid 80's
