Let's make fun of socialists...

I am 28 years old and I have a Masters Degree in Underwater Basket Weaving. My job experience is working as a Batista with Starbucks. I have submitted my resume to numerous places, but noone wants to hire me. Maybe it is my purple hair and nose ring. I was hoping for a 6 figure salary to start. I think people like Elon Musk have way too much money, so he should be forced to give most of it away. I deserve some of it too since no one wants to hire me.

This is the kind of political analysis you get when someone builds an entire worldview out of Facebook memes and a bumper sticker.
Nobody serious thinks “socialism” means a purple-haired barista with a useless degree demanding Elon Musk’s wallet. Socialism is an argument about who controls wealth, labor, and production, not a Halloween costume for a college kid you invented in your head.
The funny part is that MAGA types will mock “handouts” all day, then defend farm subsidies, oil subsidies, PPP loans, corporate bailouts, Medicare, Social Security, police, fire departments, public roads, public schools, and every other taxpayer-funded thing they personally like. So really, the argument isn’t “socialism bad.” It’s “government help is evil when people I don’t like get it, but patriotic when it benefits me.”
That’s not an ideology. That’s just welfare with a beard and truck nuts.
Maga loves the soft handed and lazy billionaires and trillionaires to get the freebie handouts at the working class’s expense. Welfare for the top.

The fact that you dopes think fire departments, libraries and public schools are “socialism” is reason #2 why you can’t be trusted with socialism.
Reason #1 is that there are actual socialist countries around the world and they all suck arse..Should tell you something but you’re a socialist so clearly you aren’t very bright.

It’s two-fold. We need to show their ideas are ridiculous is the easy part, but we need a viable alternative. We need to not be weak and disorganized. That’s the hard part. If we were winning and showing progress, this communist wave would die off.

So sales taxes collected to pay for local services is socialism we like ? Paying federal taxes and social security under threat of seizure of assets, jail or both is socialism we like ?
