You just haven't been paying attention. Plenty of Democrats are not Maduro fans at all and never were.
There were some who were (e.g. Sean Penn) but they seem to not be so active anymore.

While I agree with your point, Trump hasn't even "demanded loyalty or else they'll lose their job" to anyone except MAYBE Comey, and even that was questionable.
Asking a guy that leads one of your institutions, has to work closely with you, and who's shown a preference for your opponent if they'll have your back now that you're in office and his boss is a little different than just demanding loyalty and threatening his job.
Trump basically asked Comey if he would work for him and have his back as well as he would've for someone he preferred and didn't like the answers he got in the long run.
Other than that, there hasn't been much else about Trump asking for anyone's loyalty and I think he probably learned from the whole Comey situation.
