But you have a different objective.. the original ones were to promote preservation of family wealth and growth along with a few common sense good human behavior.

We waste our time with this shite instead of putting every bit of time and resource into creating jobs, lowering crime, or attracting talent to our state. Of course

The same morons applauding this will turn around and recite the second amendment anytime gun control gets brought up but still act like the Establishment Clause doesn’t exist

Only Louisiana, Texas and maybe Mississippi are the only states that care about this shite. You go anywhere else in the US and no one gives a flying frick about the 10 commandments and/or prayer in public schools.

Have you considered what is stopping lawmakers in other states—or even in Louisiana—from passing bills into law that require Sharia Law or the Eight Precepts of Buddhism to be publicly displayed in schools? You probably did not.
Under the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, the government is required to take a course of neutrality toward religion, and it prohibits the government from directly or indirectly coercing individuals to exercise, or refrain from exercising, their religion or lack thereof. In determining whether a particular action will be seen as sponsorship of religion, the Supreme Court indicated that it considers the historical practices and understanding of the Founding Fathers. Government action that prefers one religious sect over another violates the Establishment Clause, unless necessary to achieve a compelling government interest.

Landry has always been a shite-stirring moron. He's not woke, so that's a positive. But he's still an attention-whore moron and that doesn't really help anyone in Louisiana.

Ah yes Mississippi. A state with much better education and much less crime.

They do this stupid shite in Oklahoma too. It's ridiculous costs the taxpayer money and goes against not only the state constitution but the federal one....it's just theater for the base

Just take the gay shite out of schools is all I really want. Religion is a personal thing and unless you are in a private religious school this is not necessary.

This is his tearing down the statues moment. That’s why the dirt pickles at WSJ are oozing vaginal fluids all over us right now. They love nonsensical feel gooderie.

Landry will lose and it will be a huge waste of tax money dealing with this.

I was in deep thought last night about The Ten Commandments with a burning question on my heart and I'm hoping for some Godly knowledge from some of our friends here. I was wondering, did Charlton Heston win an academy award for the film?
