Because it is better for the libs to have the GOP be short a vote.
Beshear must have some things he could do in a scenario such as this but he has decided not to engage with it. He’ll say something in the media to cast McConnell’s camp and the GOP in a bad light but it is better for the Dems to let McConnell be absentee.

This is the guy who has been pulling the strings for McConnell for years. He is Terry Carmack.. McConnell's Chief of Staff. He is coordinating EVERYTHING out of McConnell's Office. Question is, Who is pulling Carmack's strings? Globalists? China?

Why can't the governor put out a call to the FBI and do it live in front of news cameras, "I'm issuing a missing persons report to the FBI and the Secret Service, as well as the Capital Police. This is very concerning that a US senator is missing. We don't know if something nefarious has come upon our beloved senior senator. I'm asking the president to issue the authority, via court ordered warrant, to locate and confirm the health and whereabouts of our citizen."
But he hasn't and won't, and what's amazing even more is that journalists are in on it and NOT ASKING ANY QUESTIONS!
