So sayeth Orange Man.

And if Paxton loses, it won't be Paxton's fault.

Hopefully Trump will visit every congressional district in the country between now and election day.

When it comes to self dealing and enrichment for purely personal gain, he has to be up there.

Cornyn has to be so embarrassed that he tried to name an interstate after Trump to earn his endorsement. Instead, the President endorsed Paxton and is now taking a dump on Cornyn

Not sure if Trump is making an excuse in advance, but at least for Paxton’s sake, Trump is blaming someone else.

Cornyn is the prototype political animal who will always serve the highest bidder.

Based on the 11 months I had to wait to get a hearing through the OAG scheduled, I give him a C. But he's still not an utter shitbird like Talafreako, or a traitor like Cornyn.

Talarico should invite Trump to come stand in for Ken on a debate stage.

Do you think Trump came name three other AGs in the history of Texas?

My relative, Jim Hogg, was outstanding. Actually, having been a smartass in looking this up, it IS impressive how many Texas AGs went on to become US Senators or Texas Governors.

If Paxton loses the blame will come down hard on Paxton for refusing to debate or take questions from voters. It won’t be spun as a shifting tide in Texas, the fault of rinks or a rebuke of Trump.

It will be a fluke result in a non-presidential year with a uniquely bad candidate unwilling to directly engage and bogged down by personal baggage. And voter fraud.

But I still think Paxton eeks this out.

You’re related to Jim Hogg? That dude was legendary.

As was his daughter, Ima.

Yup. His brother was my great grandfather. Unfortunately, we didn't inherit any of Jim's wealth.

The only benefit was that the Texas State Historical Society preserved and restored my great grandfather's War of Yankee Aggression letters.

Rove has been going on FNN and saying Talarico could win, would win, will win ever since the R primary ended

he hates paxton personally, so his opinion is meaningless

Or he could think Paxton is a uniquely terrible candidate

I agree with DJT, but Paxton is running a bad campaign in my opinion. If I did not know better, I would think he is running for AG because all his ads are about what he did as AG.

He is not converting what he did for Texas as AG to what he can do for Texas as Senator. This is letting Freako campaign on equal grounds when in reality he has no experience or record working to make Texas better.

Only for Trump to confirm with his post that there is genuine concern…

Doesn’t seem meaningless now.
