I’m not an expert in past Texas AGs but Paxton was a great AG especially on things that mattered.

If I did not know better, I would think he is running for AG because all his ads are about what he did as AG.

Elon donated a staggering $158 million to a Super PAC backing Paxton, yet all I see is "James Talarico is weird" ads.

One of the biggest problems on the right is that when someone on the right doesn't get everything they want, they then try to sabotage the right.

They'll disguise it as being "principled," but in the end, all it does is benefit democrats. The motive doesn't really matter when the result is disastrous.

Can’t believe Trump has such severe TDS that he thinks Paxton could lose

Yeah, Trump’s rhetoric in that tweet is really helping circle the wagons for people.

“Arrghh vote for my guy or it’s your fault!”

95% of yous who are shite talking Paxton wouldn’t have much at all to say about this had Trump not openly stated his support of Pax.

That’s a factoid for the factards. Factard. I like the sound of that.

Wouldn’t Paxton losing mean Rove and Cornyn were actually effective since they are campaigning against him?

I guess you could say anyone who sets out to accomplish a particular goal and does so successfully is/was “effective.” I wouldn’t call a murderer or a child molester “effective” if they achieve what they set out to do though. I suppose you could say, as is the case with nearly everything else in the world (which I say satirically, more or less) - it’s not black and white. It’s orange, my favorite color.

I agree with DJT, but Paxton is running a bad campaign in my opinion.

This is correct. If Paxton loses, the people who deserve the blame are Paxton himself and everyone (namely MAGA) who backed him in the primary and got him in the race.

Paxton will deserve blame for being selfish and running a horrible campaign. He was a deeply flawed candidate to begin with, and if he actually cared about the party he would've realized that and not run. Also, if you're going to take out an incumbent, you need to run a good campaign and unite the party. He hasn't done either of those things.

As for MAGA, if they really cared about keeping the seat they should've done 1 of 2 things:

1. Bite the bullet and vote for Cornyn, as he is much more electable in a General Election than Paxton and it could very well be his last term given his age.

2. Draft a competent conservative with no baggage to get in the primary and take out Cornyn. Someone who could actually run a good campaign and unite the party.

They did neither of those things.

Is Paxton going to ever use Talarico’s deranged summer of love tweets or are we just going to hear about trans kids until November ?

You'll have to ask Paxton.

Yep, and the Bush political machine in Texas and their pal Drunk Dade Phelan (the RINO alcoholic speaker of the Texas House) threw everything they had at Ken Paxton - including a total of 20 Articles of Impeachment.

The Texas Senate conducted a trial based on these articles. Every single article was defeated.

FACT - The Drunk Dade Phelan RINO faction of the Republican Party in the Texas State Legislature dreamed up this scheme. Basically, it went like this - you help us stay in office by voting for us RINO's and we'll vote for your policies AND we'll block any legislation the Republicans attempt to bring to the floor for a vote. And among those policies - help the mafia democrats in Texas get rid of this pesky AG Ken Paxton.

It was all going well until they messed with Ken Paxton statewide and Donald Trump nationally.

Now they're back. AND they have a powerful ally - Iran

Trump / Paxton - A Dream Team for a Dream State and Nation

Not necessarily. It could just mean that Paxton is a suck-arse candidate that the majority of voters do not care for.
