DC statehood is an impossibility barring a constitutional amendment that strikes the language barring DC from becoming a state.
Same for the electoral college. And it would obliterate the union.

She’s a horrible candidate (even within in a party chock full of horrible people) and my bet is a normal campaign cycle will see her lose momentum each week until she fizzles out.
The only thing that she had working for her last time was Potato stepping aside late and the Party giving her the nomination.

That’s not enough of the socialist ideals to make her a viable alternative to the likes of those who want total capitulation of America capitalism. Short of a bull ring blue haired liberal arts anti structure of everything only AOC is an acceptable candidate for them at this time. Kamaltoe represents the old establishment and won’t be seeing any points for showing up

You nailed it. When she ran for the Democrat Party nomination the conventional way in 2020, she didn't even make it to 2020. She dropped out in late 2019 before a single vote was ever cast.
Even most of the low-brow Dems know she's a fraud who has no business running for county commissioner, let alone President of the United States.
PS - I strongly suspect that AOC could end up having the same problem. She's nothing but an airhead and a stuffed shirt (pun intended).

The dems don’t elect their nominee, the elites select someone, they’ve done it 3 times in a row already, so that rules Kamala out. AOC will be the nominee. And she is a better candidate than Harris.

She cannot eliminate the EC, it would require a constitutional amendment AND you will never get 2/3rds of Congress to pass it nor 2/3rds the states to ratify it
