And from a political/governance standpoint, it should raise flags for freedom lovers from all political parties. We've learned that it's no slippery slope fallacy to assume that what a leftist-statist deems "outrageous" is soon to be a prime target for some form of criminalization and censorship.
It's about as bigoted as one can get also. Even if she had all the "moral" standing in heaven and on earth to judge Mike Pence, his choice should be his choice and should be respected.
Is this what the sexual revolution has become? Not only is one free to meet alone with people of opposite gender and sex (to the extent that even exists any more), but one is no longer allowed to refuse not to?

Well are you surprised that a woman who scored her shot at big time politics by meeting and becoming the side piece for a famous mayor would rebel against others not getting the same oppty?
At the same time Pence is just using good judgement in these days of "believe the woman" to protect himself, his family, and the office and government he represents. At some point all men of some power and influence are going to be victims of a con from a female, and that is a fight he can't win. Pence is brilliant.

I took it as nothing to do with Pence’s lack of self control or a woman’s worth only being sexual, but rather Pence seeing how people and media run with shite stories just to smear politicians, conservatives especially, and not even allowing them the opportunity to wonder about infidelity.
As Pence is a man who public espouses family values, it’s nice to see a politician actually following them.

I once hired a female who claimed to have a legal degree to learn and work in our finance dept since so many of our customers were female. 30 and not really attractive but educated and smooth conversationalist. Within 60 days she filed a lawsuit against the co and 3 of our managers. But she was busted. To help her case she tried to recruit a young, attractive receptionist type to her side and the young lady, being a loyal employee, reported her. We recorded phone conversations and live ones with her explaining how to act in court, what to say etc. She had a law license and was disbarred and did a short stretch over her scam. She likely would have destroyed several men had she been successful. There are millions of preds out there, and an equal number among both sexes. And sex is the go to tool for an alarming # of the women since it is disarming and almost impossible to defend against.

This is a personal policy that will save a man's reputation and career. I've known for decades that some men refuse to meet solo with a woman behind closed doors. From those meetings, I bet there have been close to zero accusations. There's no downside to that policy - for either party, as long as both have no ulterior motive.

But that's is not why he does this at all. He doesn't have a problem controlling himself. He doesn't even need to control anything because he is not Bill Clinton, he is a professional.
