This isn’t a personal rule created to oppress women. Instead, it is an ethic created to honor women. It actually has little to do with the risks associated with false accusations but that is an added bonus.

Pence is doing the right thing, for a couple of reasons.
1) It is his way of making sure that he can never be tempted to do something that is inappropriate or that would violate his marriage. I think it is honerable for a Christian, who believes in marriage, to take the steps to ensure he is never in that situation.
2) It prevents anyone from alleging that he behaved inappropriately when he was alone with them. If someone does allege inappropriate conduct, he has witnesses to back him up.
Let the left blast him, because his personal "policy" here will be seen as a good thing by Middle America and Kamala is just alienating them.
P.S., if all men would take up this position, we'd probably reduce the rates or divorce, domestic violence, and unplanned pregnancy some.

we have the same situation here at work. most of the males won't take the chance on having a female corner them in an office. it's gotten crazy weird here, but then again, it's just catching up with other non-vocational groups I deal with who have had this no 1-1 closed doors for years.
