SCOTUS failed.
If we want them to strictly interpret by what's in the Constitution, then how did they fail?
1. The 14th Amendment was clearly conceptualized, passed, and ratified by the states to apply to freed slaves. It was one of three "Civil War Amendments."
2. Legislative Intent Doctrine. Look it up. The legislative intent of Congress at the time it was passed was clear. Anyone who thinks Congress meant birthright citizenship to apply to hoards of invading third world savages coming here illegally, by the millions, and shitting out babies to subvert the traditional legal immigration process... is a retard
3. Times and circumstances have changed from when the 14th Amendment was enacted to the point where we have millions of people shitting out anchor babies, which liberal politicians are then fleecing the American tax payers to pay for, for people who hate this countryand do not wish to assimilate, and wish to destroy or fundamentally change this nation to accommodate their foreign cultures, religions, customs, and savagery.
These people while being protected by the U.S. Constitution right now--and SCOTUS' flawed Constitutional interpretation--will shite on and shred the Constitution and principles this country was founded on when they get power. It's already happening in NYC, Seattle, Colorado etc.
Birthright citizenship was never meant to apply to these pieces of uncivilized shite. Anyone not paying attention to what has been happening in Western European nations with their mass immigration of third-world muslims and Africans needs to pay attention and wake up. We're next... and this horrible ruling by SCOTUS only helped usher it in here.

any path to lasting change would likely require an act of Congress.
Therein lies the biggest issue.
In order to fix things, we're forced to rely upon the most historically unreliable and corrupt government entity in modern times.
There is a sum total of three Congress members that I believe are actually Trustworthy, and all three are in the House. Zero in the Senate.
It's time to balkanize and divorce into separate entities and let the cards fall where they may. In another 50 years when the hyper-prog blue-zones have completed collapsed, we can reunite under one banner just in time for America's big 300th birthday.

I said this yesterday. He is punting to an act of Congress, therefore congress...
He knows they aren't going to do anything.
He knows they aren't going to do anything.

He is saying that is what should have happened
They literally can't act (legislation) even if they wanted to now thanks to Roberts's decision

lol. The Supreme Court has reversed itself over 150 times
I am referring to Congress attempting to pass legislation to "correct" the issue.
